Porch Projects Presents: All in All

“…with an eye made quiet by the power
Of Harmony, and the deep power of joy,
We see into the life of things.”
-William Wordsworth, Lines Composed a Few Miles above Tintern Abbey…

Porch Projects’ fourth exhibition, All in All, will showcase the works of artists Annie Albagli and Megan Mueller. These two artists plumb the depths of the divide between two and three dimensions through the use of spare materials combined with imagery borrowed from the natural world. Their works hint at the secret, creeping force of Nature that at times seems counter to, yet always encompasses and includes, our own human activities. Nature overwhelms our senses with beauty, takes us out in an instantaneous blaze of glory, shakes us awake, and enfolds us in its green embrace.

Opening Reception: Saturday, September 17, 2011, 4:00-7:00 pm
Artists’ Discussion: TBA
Exhibition available by appointment at other times.
